I have hardly spent time, let alone seen my roomies in the past weeks so it was nice to spend the day with them today. It was nice out and we went for a walk to the park. So good to spend the day with them!

Z cooked rice and soup for dinner. I made chicken wings for dinner and molten chocolate cake for dessert. Good combination yes? We ended the night by watching a hodgepodge of X Factor, Charlie’s Angels and Hurt Locker. Perfect night in. :)

This recipe is super easy! Just mix everything, marinate for 30 minutes, throw it into the oven and voila!!!!! In less than 30 seconds they were gone. That’s how good they were!Honey Soy Grilled Chicken

1kg chicken wings
½ cup grape seed oil or vegetable oil
½ cup soy sauce
½ cup honey
½ cup lemon juice
1 tbsp cayenne pepper powder
1 tbsp paprika powder
4 cloves ginger, minced
1 tsp chili flakes, optional
 
Mix all ingredients well and marinate chicken for at least 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 200C and grill chicken for 30-45 minutes. Keep an eye on the heat as honey burns easily. Broil chicken to crisp the skin. Serve with a slice of lemon and dig in!
